Blackmagic cameras that support Bluetooth LE camera control — for example PYXIS, URSA, and Pocket Cinema Camera models.
Turn on the camera and enable Bluetooth in its setup menu. Open 1st AC, pick your camera from the list, and enter the 6‑digit PIN the camera shows when prompted. Bluetooth range is about 10 m.
Tap “Explore in demo mode” on the connection screen to try the entire app with a simulated camera.
Your camera reports focus as a distance rather than a slider value, so 1st AC learns the mapping per lens. Tap Calibrate focus tracking once for that lens — it racks focus end to end, after which the slider follows the ring and the distance scale appears.
